Week 1 vs Week 6 · 40-Yard Dash · Illustration
A 0.40 second gap is the space between chasing the play and making it. That gap is what training targets. Illustration only, not a promised result.
Sound familiar?
You've watched it from the bleachers. The ball goes loose, two kids chase it, and yours arrives second. Not because of effort. Because nobody ever taught the mechanics of getting there first.
01
Hustles hard, arrives late. Loose balls, backside runs, that last defensive slide. Effort was never the problem. Mechanics were.
02
Football in fall, basketball in winter, baseball in spring. One engine powers all of it. This is where that engine gets tuned.
03
Skilled, but hesitant. When a kid feels quicker, you see it before the coach does. Shoulders back, hand up, asking for the ball.
The Training System
Team practice runs plays. It rarely teaches a kid how to move. Every session here trains six specific athletic foundations, the same six every field sport is built on.
01
Sprint mechanics, arm drive, stride length. The straight-line burst that wins the footrace.
02
Change direction without losing speed. Cuts, footwork, and body control in traffic.
03
The base under every move. Staying on your feet through cuts, landings, and contact.
04
Plyometrics. Age-appropriate jump training that teaches muscles to store and release force. It trains the first step, the vertical, and the launch off the line directly.
05
Age-appropriate conditioning so effort holds up late in games, not just in the first quarter.
06
Reaction drills that shorten the gap between seeing the play and being in it.
The 90 Minutes
Dynamic work that wakes up hips, ankles, and hamstrings. Kids learn why athletes warm up, not just that they have to.
Coaches break down one skill at a time. Small groups mean every kid gets watched, corrected, and coached by name.
Ladders, cones, sprints, races. The fun part. Kids compete, and the form they just learned gets pressure-tested.
Athletes hear what they did well and what to sharpen before next week. Progress is the point.
Ninety minutes. A sweaty kid in the back seat, talking the whole ride home.
Why It's Different
The Coaching Staff
Every session is run by college athletes who competed in football, baseball, basketball, and track and field. They coach in small groups, so your athlete gets corrected by name, every rep, in an environment built on fun and form.
