Who this is for

You've watched it from the bleachers. The ball goes loose, two kids chase it, and yours arrives second. Not because of effort. Because nobody ever taught the mechanics of getting there first.

01

The step-slow kid

Hustles hard, arrives late. Loose balls, backside runs, that last defensive slide. Effort was never the problem. Mechanics were.

02

The multi-sport kid

Football in fall, basketball in winter, baseball in spring. One engine powers all of it. This is where that engine gets tuned.

03

The quiet one

Skilled, but hesitant. When a kid feels quicker, you see it before the coach does. Shoulders back, hand up, asking for the ball.

The Training System

Six weeks. Six pillars.

Team practice runs plays. It rarely teaches a kid how to move. Every session here trains six specific athletic foundations, the same six every field sport is built on.

01

Speed

Sprint mechanics, arm drive, stride length. The straight-line burst that wins the footrace.

02

Agility

Change direction without losing speed. Cuts, footwork, and body control in traffic.

03

Balance

The base under every move. Staying on your feet through cuts, landings, and contact.

04

Explosiveness

Plyometrics. Age-appropriate jump training that teaches muscles to store and release force. It trains the first step, the vertical, and the launch off the line directly.

05

Strength & Endurance

Age-appropriate conditioning so effort holds up late in games, not just in the first quarter.

06

Fast Twitch

Reaction drills that shorten the gap between seeing the play and being in it.

The 90 Minutes

Inside a session

01

Warm-up and movement prep

Dynamic work that wakes up hips, ankles, and hamstrings. Kids learn why athletes warm up, not just that they have to.

02

Form and footwork

Coaches break down one skill at a time. Small groups mean every kid gets watched, corrected, and coached by name.

03

Drills at game speed

Ladders, cones, sprints, races. The fun part. Kids compete, and the form they just learned gets pressure-tested.

04

Coach feedback

Athletes hear what they did well and what to sharpen before next week. Progress is the point.

Ninety minutes. A sweaty kid in the back seat, talking the whole ride home.

Why It's Different

Typical Youth Camp
The Omni Program
One coach, a crowd of kids, and a whistle
Small groups where every rep gets coached

A six-pillar system that builds week over week
Told to get faster, never shown how
Form first: arm drive, footwork, first step
Either boot camp or babysitting
Fun and form, in the same 90 minutes
One sport, one season
A foundation for every sport they play

Before You Ask

Questions parents ask

My kid has never done speed training. Is that okay?
Yes. This is a foundations program for ages 8 to 13. Coaches teach form from the ground up in small groups, and drills scale to where each athlete starts.
Which sports does this help with?
All of them. Speed, agility, balance, and explosiveness sit under football, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, baseball, and track and field. Athletes here train movement, not one sport's playbook.
What's the difference between the Sunday and Thursday sessions?
Schedule only. Sundays run 9:30 to 11:00 AM starting September 13. Thursdays run 7:00 to 8:30 PM starting September 17. Same coaching, same program. The 12-session package covers both days.
Do you offer a sibling discount?
Yes. If you're signing up more than one athlete, let us know and we'll go over sibling pricing when we reach out.
Can I register and pay online?
Yes. Use the Register Online button on either package above to enroll and pay directly. If you'd rather ask questions first, send the inquiry form and our team will call you the same day.
Where do sessions happen?
Omni Fitness Center in Uniondale, our family gym in the heart of Nassau County. Both session times train here.
